Self-Guided GPS Treasure Hunts in 5 European Cities
Explore Budapest, Vienna, Český Krumlov, Krakow and Rome. Pick a route, choose your start time and play with your team of 2 to 5. Your phone leads the way, and your code arrives by email in minutes.
Turn Budapest into your team's playground. Navigate the royal Buda Castle, race across the iconic Chain Bridge, and decode puzzles in hidden courtyards - all guided by GPS on your phone. No guide needed, no schedule to follow. Just your team, the city, and a race to the finish.
Imperial palaces, hidden coffee houses, and a city that rewards the curious. Vienna's grand boulevards and secret alleyways become your team's adventure course. Solve puzzles at the Hofburg, decode clues in the Naschmarkt, and race through neighborhoods most tourists never see.
Step into a living fairy tale. Český Krumlov wraps around a dramatic horseshoe bend of the Vltava River: a maze of cobblestone alleys, medieval towers, and hidden courtyards crowned by the second-largest castle complex in the Czech Republic. No guide needed, no fixed schedule. Just your team, the town, and a race through 700 years of history.
Poland's royal city keeps its history in plain sight. Cross Rynek Główny, the largest medieval square in Europe, climb Wawel Hill and follow the green Planty park around the Old Town. There's no guide and no fixed group. You pick the time, your team sets the pace, your phone leads the way and the streets do the rest.
Rome keeps its ancient past out on the street. Start at the Colosseum, look down on the Roman Forum from the Capitoline Hill, then walk on to the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Santa Maria Maggiore. Rome is a photo hunt, so there are no puzzles or riddles. At each of the 14 landmarks your phone tells you a little about the place and asks for one team photo.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does a TerraHunt treasure hunt work?
Book a route, pick the day and your start time, and your activation code arrives by email. Open the free TerraHunt app for iPhone or Android, enter the code at your start time and follow the GPS map from treasure to treasure, with a puzzle at each one.
What are the treasures?
Treasures are GPS checkpoints along the route. When your team reaches one, the app opens a puzzle or a challenge. There's nothing physical to find, carry or bring back.
How quickly will I get my code?
Within minutes of payment. First comes a confirmation email with your invoice, then an instructions email with your code, QR code and a video tutorial.
Can I change my date?
No. The day and start time you pick are final, and changes aren't possible after purchase. Your game starts exactly at that time.
What if it rains?
Hunts run rain or shine, so check the forecast before you pick your time.
How many teams can play on one code?
As many as you book. One code and one QR code cover your whole group, and every team joins with the same code. Choose the number of teams when you book, 2 to 5 players each. The code lets in exactly the number of teams you paid for.
What if my code doesn't arrive?
Your code arrives within minutes of payment. Nothing after 30 minutes? Check your spam folder, then email us at info@z-agency.cz with your order number and we'll send your code to you personally. You're covered either way: if the code doesn't reach you before your start time, you get a full refund.

Hundreds of Team Events Every Year
Most of our work is for companies. Every year we run hundreds of team-building events for corporate clients across Europe, and treasure hunts are our specialty. The hunts on this site come from the same team that designs and runs those events, so you get the same routes, the same app and the same attention to detail.
Our Own Game Platform
Every hunt runs on TerraHunt, the game platform we built ourselves. TerraHunt is a registered EU trademark of Z-AGENCY s.r.o. The app leads your team by GPS from one stop to the next and keeps score along the way. It's the same platform behind our corporate events, so the game you play on a city break is the one companies book for their teams.
Now Open to Travelers, Families and Geocaching Fans
For years our games were only played at company events. Now we've opened selected cities and routes to everyone: travelers who want to see a city on foot, families looking for an afternoon the kids will enjoy, and geocaching and GPS fans who like a walk with a goal. You can play in Budapest, Vienna, Český Krumlov, Krakow and Rome, with 13 routes and 345 treasures and landmarks to find. Rome is a photo hunt, the other cities have classic treasure hunts.
How a Self-Guided Treasure Hunt Works
There's no guide to meet and no group tour to join. Pick a city and a route, then choose your day and start time. Routes take 1 to 3.5 hours, and you walk them at your own pace. One code covers your whole booking, with 2 to 5 players per team, and it arrives by email within minutes of payment. All you need is a charged phone with GPS. The date and start time are final, and the hunt goes ahead rain or shine.
