Start Anywhere
There's no fixed start or finish. Begin wherever you like and collect the treasures in any order: the app shows every treasure on the map.
Walking Distance
About 2.5 hours at your own pace. You choose the order of stops, so the distance depends on your route. Wear comfortable shoes.
Kids
Family-friendly. Easy routes suit younger players best.
Phone and Battery
One charged phone per team is enough. Mobile data needed during the game. If the battery runs out, log in on another phone with the same account and carry on.
When to Start
Any day. When you buy, pick a start time between 07:00 and 21:00 Český Krumlov time (Europe/Prague) and a time limit of 2, 3 or 4 hours. The game starts exactly then and ends when the time limit runs out. Same-day starts need at least 1 hour's notice. Start times every 30 minutes.

How long does the Český Krumlov Grand Treasure Hunt take?
About 2.5 hours at your own pace, with 42 treasures and medium difficulty. When you book, you pick a time limit of 2, 3 or 4 hours. Pick 2 if you walk fast, or 4 to take it slowly.
What are the treasures?
Treasures are GPS checkpoints along the route. When your team reaches one, the app opens a puzzle or a challenge. There's nothing physical to find, carry or bring back.
Which landmarks does the route pass?
Český Krumlov Castle, Castle Tower, Castle Gardens, Cloak Bridge, Svornosti Square, Church of St. Vitus, Minorite Monastery and Latran Quarter.
How many teams can play on one code?
As many as you book. One code and one QR code cover your whole group, and every team joins with the same code. Choose the number of teams when you book, 2 to 5 players each. The code lets in exactly the number of teams you paid for.
When can we play?
Any day. When you buy, you pick the day and a start time between 07:00 and 21:00 Český Krumlov time, every 30 minutes. Your game starts exactly then and your code works for that start.
Where does the hunt start?
Anywhere you like. A treasure hunt has no fixed start or finish: the app shows every treasure on the map, and your team collects them in any order.
Can I change my date?
No. The day and start time you pick are final, and changes aren't possible after purchase. Your game starts exactly at that time.
What if it rains?
Hunts run rain or shine, so check the forecast before you pick your time. Take a jacket and keep the phone in a pocket between treasures.
What if our phone dies during the game?
Log in to the TerraHunt app on another phone with the same account. Everything the first phone already sent to the server loads there, and the first phone drops out of the game.
Does the app work offline?
Partly. Tap Offline in the app and the whole game downloads to your phone. If the mobile signal drops, you keep playing, and your results sync to the server once you're back online. Do it over Wi-Fi before you start.
What if my code doesn't arrive?
Your code arrives within minutes of payment. Nothing after 30 minutes? Check your spam folder, then email us at info@z-agency.cz with your order number and we'll send your code to you personally. You're covered either way: if the code doesn't reach you before your start time, you get a full refund.
